Absolute Care from Newton Care Limited
FAQs

Your questions, answered

A few of the things families most often ask us before starting home care. Don't see your question? Just call us on 01202 75 75 15.

How quickly can care start?
In most cases we can complete a free assessment within 24–48 hours of your call and have a regular care plan in place shortly after. For urgent situations, please call us on 01202 75 75 15 and we'll do everything we can to help.
How are your carers vetted?
Every Absolute Care carer is enhanced DBS-checked, reference-checked and goes through a structured induction before meeting any client. They complete the Care Certificate plus specialist training in dementia, medication, moving & handling and safeguarding.
How flexible are your services?
Very. Visits can be from 30 minutes up to full live-in care, and care plans are reviewed regularly. You can adjust the days, times and tasks as needs change — we'll work around you, not the other way around.
Will the same carer visit each time?
Wherever possible, yes. We work hard to give every client a small, consistent team of carers so familiar faces visit each week. This continuity is especially important for clients living with dementia.
Are you regulated by the CQC?
Yes. Absolute Care is part of Newton Care Limited and is regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission. We are currently rated Good.
How much does home care cost?
Costs depend on the type and frequency of visits. After your free assessment we'll give you a clear, written quote with no hidden fees. We're happy to talk through funding options including local authority and NHS-funded care.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover all of Bournemouth and Poole, including Westbourne, Branksome, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Parkstone, Boscombe, Charminster, Winton and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
What if my loved one needs care at night?
We offer evening visits, overnight 'sleeping' and 'waking' nights, and full live-in care. Talk to us about your situation and we'll suggest the right pattern of support.
